Walking on Waterducts...Be Careful

MhbswrTrip-294

This is a waterduct located near lonawala villege. This was owned by TATAs. Walking on the duct is strictly prohibited and always been guarded by 2 security guards. Yes only 2 of them :-). At a fine moment, we entered on to the walk-way of the Duct from an ungaurded gate (I guess guard went off for a pee or tea) with out any idea about the restrictions. Bingo...We're caught in the middle of Walk-way by the gaurd, and conversation is very funny....

Guard (In hindi) : Who are you all? Why you guys are walking here?

My buddies : Hum ko hindi bolna nahi ataa hein (????)

Guard (In hindi) : Where are you from?

Buddies & Me : We are from hyderabad, and what is the problem?

Guard : I don't know english, aap ko hindi nahi aata hein?

Me : See, we really don't know that this is a private water duct, we just came over since we found no one here to tell us the same...

Guard (In hindi) : You guys may have to come with me, talk to security officer.

In midst of this conversation, our cab driver was contacted on phone and he met the security office and banged him in other way on having gates ungaurded. And surprisingly it worked out very well :-) Thanks to the driver.

The funniest thing is, most of the water projects are being gaurded too much. We had faced the same security restrictions at one more TATA's water project in lonawala exit. I never heard of that much security even at Mighty Nagarjuna Sagar too.
